More than enough. You can get an external SSD for around 100$, but not the other way around. //@Anonymous: 32GB RAM but 512GB SSD, what a weird combination

My 10 yr old PC works just fine, with much low end specs. It all depends on how well you maintain it. The costlier it is the more careful you are. The cheaper it is, the more careless //@anonymous: You say that, but I am still using my 17" MacBook Pro mid-2010 i7 processor with an upgraded 1TB SSD 10 years later. The screen quality is amazing to look at even though it isn't a retina and it runs plenty fast to code websites and photoshop along with email, word, etc. Was $2200 so that's $220/yr. How many laptops have you burned through in 10 years, or could even use 10 years after you bought it? //@Preparation: Apple is overpriced... but you are paying for the quality... very secure

Or you can buy at BestBuy and price match with Costco, pay with Best Buy credit card and get 5% in rewards, if you don't have Best Buy credit card, open a new one and get 10% in rewards (i.e. $160 back) :) //@Anonymous: 1599 at Costco. If you pay with citi card you get 4 years of warranty in total.

The quality is good, except some bad designs: the butterfly keyboard is painful to touch, regardless new and old model. the screen is highly reflection, cannot see anything outside of the house. The UI design is against human nature. Yeah, the quality is really good, except those design flaws. //@anonymous: The competitors may try hard, but they fall far short of beating Apple.
