just checked out the phone at bestbuy yesterday. its kind a meh, it wide compared to today's standards and feels odd in hand, the screen brightness seemed low even on higest setting so outdoor visibility seems to suffer. the camera is also meh, it was alright nothing exciting. overall i felt that the previous version was better for the time since you could buy it for $199 last year and the design was still ok but not acceptable this new years model. the moto x4 felt a whole lot better for $30 more. the x4 camera was definitely better, the ergonomics and screen everything seemed better on the moto.
