The main catch of Grado is it’s really uncomfortable… as a wireless headphone sound quality doesn’t really matter that much, comfort is king. Apple sound quality is at least better than Beats but it’s indeed overpriced.

PC memory and SSD prices continue to fall into year because China will be banning PC memory and SSD from Korea/Japan/US due to chip war. PC chips are low-end. China can manufacture their own PC chips and only want to buy mobile and AI chips.

i bought three 4tb and two 2tb of them as a photographer, i fill them on a daily basis....2tb are dead, didnt even make it 6 months, before files went missing or corrupt. two of the 4tb developed same issues just took 9-10 months....sandisk replaced them all, and i sold the new ones they sent me. changed over to a usb-c nvme enclosure and nvme drives, no issues. //@Anonymous: Just because most people bought 2TB version. The seller then initiated a return process and also told me that they had already shipped a replacement, which I should receive in 3–5 days. However, I waited for more than a week and the replacement never arrived. As a result, I shipped the glue stick back at my own expense and provided the tracking number to the seller. Yes, after the company sent me an email and said will ship the item again in 3-5 business days. Gave them 2 weeks and didn’t receive it. So contacted Amazon again and they claimed A-to-Z Guarantee and I got refund back in 2/3days

So this past Saturday I contacted Amazon customer service again, and the representative filed an Amazon A-to-z Guarantee claim for me. A couple of minutes ago I received a message that my credit card got the refund, but the return shipping cost was not included. I believe if you are facing the same issue with the seller, just contact Amazon directly. According to customer service, you don’t even need to ship the glue stick back to get the refund. In my humble opinion, Amazon did a great job handling this.

It really depends, MacOS takes much less space compare to Windows 11. For reference, I have an 2018 MBP, macOS takes 12GB and applications takes 65GB. So if you are not using the laptop for storage purpose, 256G is likely enough.

8GB is not enough. It is very possible in the next 2-3 years Apple will not allow iOS update due to not enough memory .

Here is the comment from XDA.

By setting the minimum memory requirement for Predictive Code Completion higher than what base-model Macs offer now, Apple is effectively admitting that 8GB isn't really enough. Even if it is enough for today, it certainly won't be enough for much longer.

At least then they'll finally stop selling 8gb models by then ... which they've been selling for the last 20 years or so.

With the M4 chip, Apple set the machine base memory is 16GB - no more 8GB. Something is about to change in the next few years that caused Apple to make that decision.
Apple machine is not cheap. You may have spend above $1K to buy a machine that can be crippled/excluded to future updates because of the hardware limitation. And there is no way to upgrade the memory, storage to bigger capacity on a Mac If you definitely have to buy a Mac, get the 16 GB memory.
