Pixel 6 pro is too old. I will not consider it even if its $100.
$290 for a pixel 7 pro would be a warm deal, not a hot deal.

what's the point of 4K on 27"? I think QHD is good enough, no?

No. There is no “enough”. It can always be better //@anonymous: what's the point of 4K on 27"? I think QHD is good enough, no?

You can tell. UHD downscale is sharper than QHD. //@anonymous: you just cannot tell the difference with human eyes //@onceternal: No. There is no “enough”. It can always be better //@anonymous: what's the point of 4K on 27"? I think QHD is good enough, no?

Yeah pc screens and especially laptop or phone screens are different than TVs. With a TV, most people will never sit closer than 6ft away so there is an upper limit to what resolution is worthwhile given the screen size. Desktop/laptop screens are a different story //@anonymous: Think about MacBook . Even mac 15/13 takes retina. No. QHD is good enough for 23 but not for 27. You can easily tell the difference.
Even 4k is hardly enough for 27, if you get use to 5K (like iMac), you can feel the big difference between 4K and 5K.

I don't know your eyesight but I can tell. Even UHD downscaling (you pretty much have to do this for bigger text) the text is sharper then QHD //@anonymous: you just cannot tell the difference with human eyes //@onceternal: No. There is no “enough”. You can. You can easily see the difference when scaling to the same font size. //@anonymous: you just cannot tell the difference with human eyes //@onceternal: No. There is no “enough”. It can always be better //@anonymous: what's the point of 4K on 27"? I think QHD is good enough, no?

Does it have usb-c video or usb-c pd? I'm guessing it doesn't at this price. I like being able to use a usb-c hub for video and charging.
