What does factory seconds mean?

The products which are for sale on this site are FACTORY SECONDS. 1. They have minor cosmetic scratches and/or dents. 2. Some cookware might not be engraved on the bottom. 3. There may be variances in lid types, etc however those variances should not impact the use of the product. 4. Copper Core band may not be etched all the way through There are no defects which will affect the performance of the cookware. Below are some images of possible imperfections of a FACTORY SALE GOOD.

I'm not a chef but I'm a Chinese. I purchased the stainless steel wok a week ago, on sale, about $80. I use it mainly for stir frying vegetables and make meat stew. I also use it to cook pasta, noodle, etc. I haven't tried frying stuff yet. Size is perfect, not so heavy, easy to clean. It’s official authorized seller by All Clad. It is just a special channel of All Clad to dump excess inventory. They marked it as 2nd quality because they don’t want to give perception that they are selling regular products on discount price.
