I got two Ryobi 4Ah batteries and a charger $35 a few years ago using hacking trick. These are this expensive now?

If you see the $149 price it means your local store will not sell it for the low price. What you can do is check a few other stores within your driving radius and see if there's one that sells it cheaper.

Simple. Buy one more. //@anonymous: I bought a Tesla Cybertruck because I wanted to feel like I was living in the future.
Then the power went out.
So naturally, my house is now running on my Cybertruck. The fridge? Powered. Wi-Fi? Powered. Lights? Glowing like I own a mini power plant.
Me? Not powered.
Now I have to commute 20 miles one way to work… because my car is busy being a full-time electricity provider. //@anonymous: Bi-directional power share is awesome. It’s like having a power generator for 3 days for full house + a truck for 60k. It’s a steal if you think logic. Plus steer by wire is magic. Try one. Be prepared to be overwhelmed how cool the truck is.

The WORST car made in the world.

I tried to use smartphone a couple of times but found it much worse compared to standalone GPS. Also I tried a half dozen applications for navigation and all of them useless. Standalone GPS is only device I can feel comfortably during driving. //@Anonymous: Are people still buying this?

It's called "Off line" map provided by Google map on your phone. No real time traffic information though. //@Anonymous: Actually, the cellular signals are for accessing the map (and live traffic conditions) only. Most of cell phones currently have the GPS receiver on device and can receive GPS/location signals from different Satellites. You can pre-download the map into your cell phone device when you are in the hotel (restaurant, store, or home) with internet access. Then, you can use the pre-downloaded map on your phone as the GPS device on the road even if there are no cellular signals on the road. //@Anonymous: This device is still useful when no cellular signals and your car has no builtin GPS.
