I think the idea is fine. This mini is too big. If they can shave the bottom where the gopro logo is, it would be better. And also replacable battery.

That's so true. Check about Insta360 go 2. Only a fraction of the weight of this one, makes it so much more useful as a hat cam. //@anonymous: GoPro mini was a failure for GoPro. It's too big to call it mini compared to competitors on the market. It's nearly the size of the regular GoPro. They need to make something smaller for it to make sense. I'm sure the next version will be much smaller. I love GoPro but this one is a fail.

This is an action camera. Where you use it and what you are doing when you are using is more important. I have never seen anyone attaching their cell phone on their helmet while snowboarding or on their head while diving. It does have so many accessories that you can attach different places securely and do what you want to do without worying about the camera. Cell pones cannot be secured the same way and not as much impact resistant. //@Anonymous: Is this better than top-brand cell phones?

I am having the same issue. They told me they shipped the items on Friday 10/30/2020 but UPS tracking showed they haven't received the items yet. //@Anonymous: They will charge you, show order as shipped and won't ship your order for days/weeks. If you ask customer service, they will blame UPS for not picking up your package. I cancelled my order today.
