By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 01:15pm
It works after I tried many times. Basically, After you did step 3, it shows command number ...., you don't need worry about it. Wait for a minute then you have to restart 1 time with at&t sim card. After this turn your phone off again, change your new sim...Turn it on, your phone unlocks now.

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 12:51pm
After step 3, it shows command number 11...
what next?

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 11:54am
Everyone shall call your carrier to unlock your phone (that is free). Carriers deserve the cost on such support hours because they asked phone vendor to lock phones.

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 11:38am
How do we know it work? I do get the PERSO_NV_INIT is successful message, is that mean it is unlocked? I have note2 in t-mobile

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 09:57am
Samsung is the cource.

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 09:53am
I got the same error as some you , but then I clicked on

SHA256 ON and the SHA 256 OFF again! tried it a few times (like 3 times)

Then the initialize tab and it worked. atleast i got the successful message. not sure if it is unlocked.

I tried on TMOBILE btw.

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 09:52am
Got PERSO_NV_INIT is successful

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 09:48am
You can't do that on iPhone. Most cell carriers will unlock samsung galaxy when you use more than 3 months but they don't do on iPhone because iPhone is so special stuffs and higher value than any other phones.

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 09:44am
What's the source of this info? Is it from Samsung?

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 09:38am

How did you get the message:
PERSO_NV_INIT is successful?

I got nothing

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 09:35am
I am using Note 2. I have two issues:

1) on step 2: when clicking on "[3]Perso SHA256 OFF" ... my phone shows
SHA256_OFF => Not change
which one should I click on???

on step 3: after click on "NW LOCK NV DATA INITIALLIZ"
my phone error:
Current command is 118644

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 09:33am
how to find out if my phone is unlocked?

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 09:23am
Does this work on iPhones?

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 09:21am
Will it void your warranty?

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 09:09am
Looks like it worked
PERSO_NV_INIT is successful I got this message

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 09:00am
I am not 100% sure if this is a solution because you need a number to unlock otherwise...this is doing some type of process and we dont know what it is going to do an obvious risk.

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 08:57am
How about t-mobile?

By anonymous on 12/01/2012, 08:50am
