it's glass, just a different type of glass. This is the brand I am using for over 20+ years. WAY BEFORE Apple decided to use their original company's glass for their iPhones. (Corelle was originally part of Corning and Corning is the maker of Gorilla Glass for iPhones) //@anonymous: It's not glass. It is heat tolerate and hard to break. What's why it is much more expensive than glass. //@Anonymous: The pasta bowl is made of glass. It gets hot if you put hot content in it. It's uncomfortable to handle. We have something similar.
