Good eye. I have a 2016 prius (not prime), I love it, it's a substantial improvement in handling over the 3rd gen. Slightly less cargo room but no biggy. //@Anonymous: 2017?

So what is the final price?

I don't really recommend buying cars at the year end because you lose one year of resale depreciation automatically. Try using KBB to quote the difference between a 4-year and 5-year old car, and key in the difference in negotiation. This should be around 1000-1500

Valid point, but if you are planning to keep the car for long and not sell shortly after buying, year end is still a good time to buy, as long as you are getting lower price. //@Anonymous: I don't really recommend buying cars at the year end because you lose one year of resale depreciation automatically. Well, don't forget the extra excise tax collected at the highest valuation if you buy a new year model. And the insurance overpaid. You can easily lose more if you keep being a gnat. //@Anonymous: I don't really recommend buying cars at the year end because you lose one year of resale depreciation automatically. No you can't. Sales prices are based on the location of the purchase since the car has to be registered there. If that were not the case, most people would buy a car in a state with no sales tax (ex. Oregon) and drive it back to their home state and save a ton of money. //@Anonymous: If I buy a new car in NY and drive back. Can I still get the $4000 rebate?

it might runs smooth but the safety features are out dated. Also, how is the running and maintenance costs? How much is the regular oil change come up? I had to spend 3000 or more per year after 3 years for similar car and decided to go to Toyota for resale value, safety, etc. //@Anonymous: I bought a new bmw in 2000.still it runs nice and smooth. Tesla battery is rated 3000 cycles. At let's say 250 miles per cycle, the battery is supposed to last 750K miles. Now if you keep your car for 15 years and drive 20k miles/year, you haven't even reach half yet. Industrial grade battery are different from laptop battery. It's like aircraft grade aluminum is different from aluminum used in bicycle. I just had my infiniti ex35 diagnosed for engine code P0300. 6 spark plugs to be replaced. $600. I wish I know enough to repair my car myself.

That statement clearly shows you know absolutely nothing about Toyota hybrid system. A little education hybrid battery from Toyota is one of the most reliable. My Camry going on 200000 miles and haven't had a single issue with it I've known people to go over 300000 miles on Prius and the only thing they've changed is the regular 12 volt battery. You must be the guy who still rides a donkey. Dumas //@anonymous: Hybrids will cost many $$$$ for batteries.

I like and use dealsea quite a bit; but posting these deals without stating the required initial down payment is garbage. If initial payment is $0, state this. Otherwise, if it is a typical number - $2000 or $3000- the equivalent monthly payment for a 36 or 39 months lease goes up roughly by $60 or $90, making the posted numbers, like I said, garbage.
