You're comparing apples and oranges, Dealsea. BestBuy is selling a REFURBISHED unit for $139.99, while Amazon is selling a brand-new unit for $216.12 (28% of MSRP).

would refurnished ones have problem comparing to new ones?

obviously someone is paid to post such "deal" for bestbuy. Walmart always has it for $140.

Many applications could run on smart phone or tablet instead of PC, for instance. It doesn't mean that it's the easiest and productive way of doing that. Personally, I even couldn't think to replace my GPS with any tablets or smart phones. GPS is the best for GPS tasks.

I would agree with @8.45pm commenter.

I was a firm believer in using one device for multiple tasks...music/data/web/gps in cell phone. But recently after using a basic GPS for a long drive has me sold on the idea to own a quality GPS even for in-city driving.

I would definitely recommend that you give a shot to dedicated GPS if you are a believer in using one device for multiple tasks. GPS on Android/iPhone is good for casual use (quick directions to restaurant or theatre) but GPS is needed for heavy-duty work like morning commute.
