@11:51People who deliver your pizzas get paid less than minimum wage, just so that you can have your large one-topping pizza for 3.99. It is assumed that they make the difference in tips for doing a good job. Unlike you, there are people around who appreciate their work.

at the previous guy. A regular pizza is not 3.99. I agree with the guy above who said it is not our jobs to pay the employees. I also tip 2 for 1 pizza or 3 for 2. But while it is sad that they don't get much pay. Welcome to the club.06/30/2012, 07:01pm

To the previous friend: please be civilized enough to respect the work from delivery guy. They work for tips. What if it's you who work for 4.25 dollar per hour and has to drive all around under 95 degree sun? Please learn to appreciate.06/30/2012, 07:20pm

Although I always tip the driver, just wonder if you don't tip at all, will he mess up your pizza? 06/30/2012, 07:30pm

I used to deliver for a Papa John's restaurant in Texas, drivers actually get paid @ a differential rate, if they were out delivering, pay rate is $4.80/hr, but if they were inside store ie they had to be doing something like cutting veggies or folding boxes, pay rate is $7.25. 07/02/2012, 09:15pm

It is not the employer who pays the wages. Employers only handle the money. It is the customer who pays the wages.~Henry Ford
