Update - This price is a new fullfiller, "Carl's Golf Land" so that could be why the price change has taken effect. I still have hope!

So far so good folks, but as someone above said, they would probably honor these if the price didn't stay so low for so long. They're out at least $50,000 by honoring these orders. I highly doubt this.

Amazon offered the full set (with specific details about it) for a price. I accepted the offer. My payment and Amazon's receipt of it is the consideration that sealed the deal. Offer+acceptance+consideration=binding and enforceable contract. That being said, if I'm Amazon, I'd argue my disclaimer that I have the right to cancel an order if the item is mispriced. As a consumer, I would argue the mispricing is Amazon's problem w/TGW, and that I expct Amazon to perform our binding and enforceable contract, or my state's consumer protection office may get involved for their false and deceptive trade practice. Class action, anyone?

its hard to think that we'd be cheated by the title, cause the title of the product clearly states that it is a full set 3 through pitching wedge. Rh obviously stands for right handed and r9 tp is the model number of taylor made. If i receive anything less than what i just wrote, it will be returned and a complaint will be filed to amazon by me. Also, the list price is 1000 bucks, which pretty much guarantees that this is the whole set, because who the f*ck would buy a thousand dollar golf club?

My order at $112.5 is still "shipping soon". I wouldn't hold my breath though. Amazon does cancel items with pricing mistake quite often.

there's nothing you can do when your order is cancelled. Because Dealsea.com clearly says "A price error". As long as buyer buys an item while he know its "a price error", theres no binding obligation to honor that unilateral mistake. There's law to protect the seller when substantial error e.g. typo.. Let's forget about it and move on.

How dealsea know it is a price error? How do you know it's a price error? I heard some story about seller's promotion trick. Use little cost to make famous. Is it now the same thing?

this is my 2 cents from what i see...
TWG blamed it on Amazon saying that they listed the wrong price. If that's the case, Amazon cannot cancel our order because this product is not sold thru Amazon.....On the other hand, Amazon blamed on TGW saying that TGW gave them the wrong price so go blame on TWG. If that is the case, then TGW should honor the item since they did not state any "mispriced" policy on the internet according to their website...

I review the article provided. Since I am not a lawyer, I can only give my opinion from common sense. The example is similar but not exactly the same. The critical thing in this example is that the Amazon clearly states that the contract is not formed until such time as Amazon confirms dispatch of the ordered items. However, in this case my Amazon account clearly shows “This portion of your order is being prepared for shipment and cannot be canceled or changed”. This means the term of contract is actually formed. On the other hand, the sets were sold by The Golf Warehouse” instead of Amazon. But there is no disclaimer on their site saying anything about “mispriced” product. I am not sure if my understanding is valid from a legal standpoint.

Contracts Law 101: Caselaw - Offer v. Advertisement - go through the steps of a valid offer. Sorry to be the one to break the bad news, but filing a lawsuit is not the way to go.

I believe we have a case. As Amazon also deleted the order history of this transaction. Amazon maus have had atterney's opoion. But the fact of deleting records is telling something that they are concern about the consequence...

follow up - Contracts Law 101 - 2nd valid defense . . . If there is a valid offer, was the acceptance valid (insert steps of a valid acceptance here)? Next, 3rd defense . . . do they, Amazon and The Gold Warehouse, have a writing (disclaimer) that allows them to cancel? Regardless, it would have been a great deal.
