not agree with your comment. they might have bad quality item especially on the clearance one (the one that get heavy discount). but majority are the same good quality as other retail stores.

I did not buy in clearance.I bought in regular price with Good brand name.But those were not good. It happend two times I do not go to DSW, this my thought.

Actually, I normally did not buy DSW's regular items. However, their clearance items are pretty good, at least in store.

Good quality may have difference values for different customers. Generally, the brands at DSW are OK. If you not satisfied, I recommend shoes made in Italy or Spain. Trust me, D&G or Mezlan shoes won't let you down.
