Do not spend your valuable time on lenovo deals, they DO NOT ship the product!!! I ordered one by using one of their coupons on dealsea.com, and now they claim that it is not available even though it is still available. I will not trust dealsea or lenovo any more!!!!!!

XGA TFT. Due to the transition, the price of your system will

In addition, the 42X0753 – TrackPoint Only - component for your keyboard is

42X0754 - TrackPoint + Fingerprint Reader - at no additional cost.

For Lenovo, it's not surprising! It is common that they didn't even know what they had in stock when they ran the promotion. There is always some uncertainty until after you really get your Thinkpad.
I really don't know what to say. Maybe they should suspend their Build-to-Order function until they really work out a way that really works.
It has been a few years since they took over IBM. And the Build-to-Order system is still not efficient. People should recall that they even need a few months to fulfill an order in the past, Now it's A LITTLE BIT better but it still takes 2+ weeks.
That said, they should just sell pre-built models. |

Got the same email!!!!! I have been on hold now for the past 30 min... reading what others here have posted it just seems that lenovo has absolutely no idea whats going on!!!! Its kind of like someone decided to do random stuff and see what sticks...... |

Can someone tell me what's the difference btw 42X0462 and 42X0461.
The cost of the system is the same per Lenovo but I just do not trust them. It seems like 42X0461 is old model and 42X0462 is new.
However, I can not find any info.
