For some reason, I cannot checkout.

Giving me this error message Sad
"(An error has happened in processing your order. Please try again later.)"

Information I put is all correct, so it must be there is something wrong with their website, or the deal is dead.

considering this laptop's purpose, 512MB is big enough. atom processors are not even that fast. (about same to Pentium 3 or early pentium 4)

This laptop is meant to be ultra portable. Something between UMPC and a Laptop.

I believe you will have to pay tax almost anywhere in the US with big companies like this. Smile

Now only if they let me check out....

This doesn't let us customize the processor or memory.

Just chatted with customer support.

He(or she) said the system is down at the moment.
I asked if he has any idea when it will be fixed, he said "Before end of the day." Rolling Eyes

I'll try few hours later..

It is upgradable. It uses regular DDR2 SODIMM module.
However, it appears there is only one slot.
I may be wrong, but from the picture I saw it appears there is only one slot.

According to above webpage, there is 512MB RAM soldered on the mainboard and there is additional slot for adding more RAM.
The motherboard can only take upto 2GB total RAM.

There are both wired, and wireless LAN.

Wish this also come with bluetooth module. Lenovo claims bluetooth comes with select models, but doesn't say anything about bluetooth on the one available for purchase.

Chat with customer service, he said there is one 512MB "in the slot". U can upgrade it up to 2GB. However, there is only one slot so the 512MB might just be wasted. Also, there is no bluetooth on this model.

However, around $360 (after MS rebate) is an ok deal for a 10" netbook.

It costs $499 for msi wind (1GB memory)

$549 for Asus eeepc 1000H (1GB memory & 6cell battery)

Acer aspire one costs $399 (8.9" screen 1GB memory & 120GB HD)

Other eeepcs are very small and portable (however, the keyboard is crazy small and very hard to use).

For me, 10" screen is a more comfortable size for reading.

So 512 MB is installed in the RAM slot?
A review I found showed 512MB soldered in the mainboard and there was a SODIMM slot that can be used to add more RAM. Maybe it is different model?

Read review below.
