12% off Cashback at eBay through Microsoft Cashback Program

Microsoft offers 12% Cashback (Max $200 each order) at eBay.

  1. Read Microsoft Live Search Frequently Asked Questions
  2. Click here, then click on the www.ebay.com sponsored link on the top or in the right showing "Buy Items on eBay. You may get 12% off with PayPal if eligible." Clear your browser's cookies and cache if you don't see this. You can use other keywords to find ebay sponsored link.
  3. Find any item on eBay with "Buy it Now" and accepting Paypal. When you click on "Buy it Now" and log into your eBay account, you should see "Microsoft cashback % off" before clicking on "Commit to buy". If you don't see this, try again or try on other products.
  4. Pay with Paypal. An email with Cashback details would be sent to the email address associated with your ebay account, or check your eBay account message.

You can try any item on eBay with "Buy it Now" and accepting Paypal.

Click here to see a snapshot of my test checkout (after clicking on "Buy it Now" and logging into the eBay account). You should see this page saying 35% Cashback during the checkout process.

Terms of Cashback:
http://pages.ebay.com/cashbackoffer/terms.html
(Note: Live Search CashBack awards are not available on purchases of gift cards or gift certificates or on purchases you make from yourself or entities that you control.)

Cashback Rewards will be applied only to the first eligible item you commit to buy during an Online Session. Cashback Rewards will not be applied to any additional items or purchases. A single listing with multiple items will be considered one item for the purposes of these terms and conditions.

my doubt is ..becausing we are clicking WII, Is it not applicable only to WII?

Sorry for any inconvienance.

No. It applies to the first item you committed to buy. Click on Wii doesn't mean that.

MS Says: "Most purchases appear as pending within a day or two, but occasionally a store may take longer to tell us about your purchase. If you made a purchase more than 7 days ago that isn't displayed in your cashback account, contact us with your purchase details. We'll get back to you just as soon as we can"

U Bet it sounds like you're gambling!! I checked out expensive stuff at Ebay and it gives me the MSN Live logo at Buy It Now confirmation saying "You'll get $xx back from MSN" but I'm still not sure if I can really believe this to work. In any case, the max allowed is $250 so the max benefit you can get to buy is around $714 something and anything above that will always be $250 given back to your Cashback account.

I am currently window shopping for a 42 or 46inch LCD TV either at TigerDirect or Amazon and not found good deals yet, but I recently saw this on Ebay - Toshiba 42inch for $1180 + 3 yrs warranty + shipped (Toshiba 42RV530U), and get $250 back after a couple of months so eventually I will have paid only $930 which seems like the steal of the year really. I was never getting that TV for less than $1200 (ship+tax) anywhere and with one year warranty only and all this while I was never looking at Ebay until now. I wonder if I should buy it or not. I don't trust this deal - as Dealsea has cautiously mentioned -- "could be a system glitch"

Any thoughts?

It worked for me and I did get an e-mail.

I needed a new salt generator for my pool. Lowest price online was 409. (looked everywhere) But I was able to use this to buy a new one from ebay listed for 450. (157 cash back = 292.00)

dealsea is awesome!!!

Can you only use this on one item total? (or one item for session)

I'm only seeing ads that say 10%, nowhere does it say 35%. Could it be over?

Discount reduced to 10%

Sounded like a great deal, so I went ahead and signed up with my existing hotmail account. I followed the steps listed in OP, but the ad now states "You may get 10% off with PayPal if eligible." Sounds like the 35% discount is dead....
