Certainly not. If so, how can they achieve price cut? Great heart?

Having said that, they still have much better quality/price value than crappy Dell...

yeah, i agree Dell usually does not provide as good quality as Lenovo. however, they have their new XPS M1330, that looks very nice!

Worked like a champ for me. I tried it on a T61 & an R61. I copied and pasted, rather than typing it in.

Tech always gets cheaper. I remember the first laptop I used cost about $4000 and it wasn't the top of the line. Component prices go down and when one manufacturer lowers their prices, the rest have to take at least some action so that they aren't completely uncompetitive. I think lenovo has been able to improve prices on ThinkPad because they aren't part of IBM any longer. All large American companies include a corporate overhead line in each divisions P&L's...pays for the huge offices, club membership and outlandish bonuses of executives. So when that all but goes away...I'm sure there is some at lenovo but it's probably 1/4 what it was at IBM...you can sell for less and still show a profit.

totally agree with you!! Thinkpad is the most important product for Lenovo, which means Lenovo will try his best to keep the quality of thinkpad and lower the price.

Doesn't work with EPP?

I tried the coupon code with EPP, but the code doesn't seem to work. Has anyone tried this yet?
