re GPS - some Nokia N series models now have free GPS system built-in. But you need to check. If it is, it is quite good actually. I have it on my N85 (but it requires a fee). You have turn-by-turn directions, voice guidance and so on. And the default voice has an european accent. :)

lets be little fair here. I agree Dell's entry level laptops are below average quality but it is priced for that. Studio and XPS are nice laptops for the price & configuration. Dells are very good machines. I've purchased over 80 of them (for work and at home) and aside from occassional problem one, I've had no issues that couldn't be resolved quickly. I purchased one of the Inspiron 15 Core-I3s for a co-worker and it arrived on Friday. It looks nice! The guy that works for me purchased a Dell Core I7 desktop about a month ago and he LOVES it. Stop hating on Dell... I also purchased a couple of HPs and I'm sorry... for the price and power, Dell is my choice.

it's weird that a lot of people can't seem to wrap their heads around the concept - whether or not your machine breaks down depends on how you use it and how often you use it, just because your dell didn't break before you replace it doesn't make its quality good.

almost all my computers are on 24/7, and I wouldn't lie about just how poor dell's quality is. For heavy use (10+ hrs a day), dell laptops very rarely last more than 3 yrs. something will go wrong (harddrive, power, screen..you name it)

There is no limit for Windows 7 starter with the number of applications that can be run at 1 time. They originally thought about doing that but they scratched it when they realized how stupid that would be. It is a good deal if you are looking for a solid notebook under $250. It depends on the restaurant, before you buy it reads the limitation. for example for a $25 certificate (that you buy for $2 dollars), some places state "Minimum purchase of $35. 18% Gratuity added prior to discount. Valid for Dine In ONLY. Present prior to ordering. "
So in this case when you spend $35, your final cost of the meal will be
$35 + ($6.3 tip) -$25 +$2 (certificate cost)+Tax = $18.3+Tax (including tip) which is not bad at all.

That is not true. These coupons have saved me THOUSANDS. If you live in CA or NY the coupons do not expire because of our laws on such offers. I have tried out new eateries and subscribed to many fond ones in the process. Every time I go out I have food to take home and just pay 20-30 INCLUDING TIP taking out my girlfriend. I had purchased one such voucher a couple years back, enjoyed the discount, ableit the mandatory gratuity (on full amount) and then months later, found that I was subscribing to some 'club' which silently drew $19 from my credit card account every month. I found out the merchant details and called up their number, the guy just told me i had sent my 'approval' through restaurant.com voucher purchase. My credit card company took up the matter and filed a complaint, and made an immediate refund of the disputed amount (6 months of so called subscription).

Some restaurants do underestimate the value they give for the coupon. We've had many refuse to honor them 'next time,' but take it 'this time.' They don't get our repeat business.

They don't seem to understand that the reason you give coupons is to get people to give your place a try, and that you need to be on your best behavior to make regular customers of them. Those that don't, do not get the repeat business, and therefore are not satisfied with restaurant.com.

We have been going to the same restaurant monthly (the maximum visits allowed) for years, and have never had a problem with them. And it's fun trying new places on the cheap.

My experience after 2 IBM (T42, and T43) and a Lenovo T60. After 4 years the battery on T43 still great and the T42 one acceptable. Not the same thing I can say about the T60. It sucks. The difference between Lenovo and IBM, in my opinion is that Lenovo got a good product design but tried to cut costs. The result at least for me and couple other friends are disappointing.

I owned a Lenovo made Thinkpad X60 for 4 years. It still works great. Overall, the design and quality of thinkpad is great. I don't care who designed it. Thinkpad series are generally very reliable. guess more fair to say Lenovo may have some quality/reliability control issue. The T61 user complained about battery may tell the truth yet my T61 bought in '08 still has a great battery as of today. Who knows. All I can say that even Lenovo-made thinkpad sucks, still better than the rest in the market.

2 cents from my personal experience: there are laptops as good as Lenovo T/X series regarding design,quality and reliability, but these are often more (sometimes much more) expensive than thinkpads (toshiba high end, some apple).

I had really bad experience with hp and dell ($300-$1500). Also, Dell used to have good service but not any more (not terrible).

Lenovo is very disappointing. They modified my original configuration of the laptop that I ordered in Feb without informing me. The replaced a FHD screen with a cheaper HD screen. Be aware of this, if you want to order you laptops with Lenovo.

I agreed with many people that stated thinkpad WAS a good laptop before, after lenovo took over..it might not be as good as it was (thinkpad only good for business user). If you want good laptop on par with apple quality, get SONY.

I got one T410 a month ago. Lenovo's initial quality control is bad. Mine got major defects in speakers upon arrival and it took Lenovo twice to get it fixed. Moreover, they refused a full refund for my purchase! Will never recommend Lenovo to anyone.

Good deal, I ordered one. 540m, 4G, 3year depot, 6 cell. I believe this is the best config now. I will change HDD later (when 750G becomes cheap.)
